The family care center is a half-way home institution that will provide safety, security, and positive memories to foster children and their families. This space will be specific to children within the foster care system that can range from newborn to 18+. There will be designated sleep and play areas accommodated to certain age ranges. This space is intended to be a positive environment for the children and biological parents to create memorable experiences. Nurture will be a new approach to the foster care system, while being a sustainable, accessible establishment meeting the needs of the foster care community within the St. Louis region.
